The Arab-International Foundation for Environmental Cooperation (AIFEC) is an independent non-government and nonprofit regional and international organization. Researchers, scientists and specialists in the field of environmental legislations from within and outside the Arab world are the founders of this organization. Representatives of Arab and International scientific centers and other organizations are also among people who established this organization.
The Foundation looks forward to opening branches and establishing relationships with scientific organizations in different Arab and international capitals that are interested in participating in the foundation’s activities.
The idea of creating this Foundation came out as a result of efforts from Consultant Mohamed Koubâa, the initiator, with scientists, consultants and specialists in the field of environmental legislation from within and outside Arab world, in addition to the prestigious attendance of international reputed characters in this field, ministers and directors of many environmental governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and many other participants from different Arab and foreign organizations.
The Arab countries are looking to achieve in the field of environment in line with the support of Arab group union. They are also serving the environmental issues and the development in the Arab world and international cooperation in this field and to achieve the goals and objectives.

Under the constitution of the Arab Countries League and the United Nations Organization, the project has the following objectives:
1. Reinforcing the partnership between Arab, African and European countries at an international level in different environmental aspects especially in the field of environmental technology transfer and the perfect production and environmental training and spreading awareness through different communities.
2. Establishing partnerships with different countries and with different government and non-governmental organizations, and scientific specialized associations and societies and different other private associations in the context of programmes and projects that the Foundation intends to undertake in the future.
3. Participation in different Arab, African and International environmental programmes and activities.
4. Revising of the local, regional and international strategies and policies concerned with environmental issues.
5. Strengthening the cooperation relationships between different Arab, African and Foreign countries and regional and International organizations interested in the field of environmental activities in order to achieve the balance between the human needs and natural resources from the experiments and exchange of available information.
6. Increasing the environmental awareness in the field of environmental protection through organizing conferences, workshops and meetings on activities on environmental conservation in Arab and African countries according to the local legislations and international conventions that are dealt with in such circumstances.

1. The social programmes for protection of environment which includes environmental awareness and promoting such activities to the best through several mechanisms among which “environment without boarders” project.
2. Environmental training and education programmes at schools, secondary and high institutes.
3. Programme of scientific researches and studies and environmental economics and sustainable development.
4. Environmental, consultancy, legislative, financial and technical programmes and international rehabilitation of organizations in the field of environmental quality control.
5. Program for environmental technology knowledge and best production which coincide with environmental measures and the special rules in the general environmental system.
6. Documentation and environmental media information programme.
7. Local, regional and international environmental cooperation programme.
8. The partnership reinforcement programme between different local, regional and international environment stakeholders:
· Strategic evaluation environmental programme in relation to sustainable development.
· Solid wastes disposal programme.
· Used water disposal programme.
· Prevention of industrial and air pollution programme.

Foreword
There is an increasing, worldwide, concern over the environment and the means of improving the quality of life for the coming generations. Countries around the world are exerting efforts on the industrial, municipal and rural fronts to cut down on pollutants.
Despite of the publicity campaigns and the banners raised in defense of the environment, pollution issue has become major concerns for government and public alike. Major projects and activities are beings launched and funded to resolve such issue by governments and private sponsors. Such activities are implementing the most advanced technical and scientific methods and innovations to tackle pollution problems and work towards preserving or reestablishing the balance in ecosystems all over the world.
The major Arab countries like Tunisia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have taken big steps towards preserving its natural resources, establishing rules and regulations, and coordinating efforts on all levels of government and industry in order to increase awareness on pollution issues and the continued need for wise usage of natural resources.
The founders propose to establish an Environmental Organization with the participation of Arabic, African and European countries in order to develop the cooperation in environmental sector and to help fight pollution carrying out groundbreaking research and increase populate awareness of environmental issue.
The Arab International Foundation for Environmental Cooperation (AIFEC), a non-profit organization, is initiated by the founder Mohamed KOUBAA under construction.
The AIFEC will comprise more than 100 members and affiliate environmental management associations, technology and training centers in more than 50 countries. The Main Secretariat is located in ……………………countries
The goals of the Arab International Foundation for Environmental Cooperation (AIFEC) are to minimize the environmental impacts of industrial operations, and to help business and industry reconcile the imperatives of development and the environment.
The main task of AIFEC is the promotion, development, cooperation, dissemination and application of principles and methods of environmental management, as well as the creation and support of business associations for environmental management.
We aim to promote in support of sustainable development, the integration of environmental and economic policies, technological innovation and diffusion, and the protection of environmental assets and ecosystems. We aim to provide services promoting knowledge exchange with foreign partners in the world.
Mission
The Environmental Organization named "Arab International Foundation for Environmental Cooperation (AIFEC) aims to build an International Network over the Arabic African and European countries to develop the environmental cooperation and to offer high quality environmental services in this field with the support of European financial programmers. It shall skive to become a major player in the environmental area.

The "Arab International Foundation for Environmental Cooperation (AIFEC) aims to be the leading environmental player in the Arabic-African countries in ten years time of its establishment.
How to achieve our mission?
Main issues to be addressed are:

· Local, regional and international partnership/cooperation aiming at the protection of the environment through establishing international funds dedicated to the support of Durable Development Efforts.

Tunisian Citizenship, my present position is a consultant in the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) IN Jeddah Saudi Arabia.
For five years ago, I have been attached to the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) as a consultant of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Monitoring and Assessment Claims related to the Iraq's invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
Now, I'm attached as a Partner Advisor with the Group Law firm of Khalid Al-Sunaid & Talal Al Ahmadi in Riyadh –Saudi Arabia.
Our Group is specializing in "Business and Environmental services" which are related to the promotion of investment, financial, technical and economical cooperation concerning environment in finding cost reducing solutions to environmental issues. We help our clients to improve their environmental and resources efficiency performance and to make money in the process.
Our mission is related to projects and development of international partner's relationship such as legal activities and evaluation of agreements, investment organization of seminars workshops and colloquies and participations in international conferences and exhibitions.
